Readiot Writers – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern participation in the Readiot Writers Programme operated by Readiot (readiot.in). By submitting any content to Readiot, you agree to the terms below.
1. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals who submit original written content in English or Assamese. By submitting, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age or have permission from a parent or guardian if required by local laws.
2. Originality of Content
All submitted work must be original and created by the submitting writer. AI-generated or partially AI-generated content is strictly not permitted. You confirm the work is your own intellectual creation.
3. Ownership of Content
You retain full ownership of your content at all times. By submitting your work to Readiot, you give Readiot permission to publish, display, and promote your writing only across Readiot platforms and official social media channels, with proper credit to you as the writer.
4. Writer Profile & Attribution
Published writers may receive a dedicated profile page displaying their pen name and work. Real identity remains private unless explicitly requested.
5. Payment & Reader Support
Readers may choose to voluntarily support writers through the “Support” button available on eligible writings. Writers will receive 90% of the total support amount received, while 10% will be retained by Readiot for payment processing charges, operational costs, and platform maintenance.
6. Content Guidelines
Submissions may be rejected if they contain plagiarism, harmful content, spam, or AI-generated writing.
7. Editing & Publication Rights
Minor edits may be made for clarity without changing meaning. Major edits will be communicated when necessary.
8. Removal of Content
Writers may request removal of content, subject to prior publication use or platform requirements.
9. Verification
Additional details may be requested to verify authorship or prevent misuse.
10. Limitation of Liability
Readiot is not responsible for opinions expressed by writers. Content reflects the author’s views.
11. Agreement
Submission confirms acceptance of these terms and originality of work.
