At Readiot, we know every book has a journey—and we want that journey to be smooth. Here's how we handle shipping and delivery across our platform.

We currently ship books within Guwahati city.

2. Delivery Timeline

Books are usually delivered within 2–5 business days from the date of order confirmation.

Delivery times may vary depending on the location, availability of the book, or weather/transport conditions.

Orders placed during holidays or peak times may take longer.

We’ll keep you posted every step of the way.

3. Shipping Charges

Subscribed Members: Shipping is charged only for the first 10 rentals, after that it's free for the rest of the subscription period.

Non-subscribers: A standard delivery charge of ₹50 per order may apply.

Charges will be visible before you complete checkout.

4. Book Handling & Packaging

Books are packed with care to avoid damage. However, since many books come from fellow readers, some signs of gentle love (aka pre-loved condition) may be visible.

If something arrives in a mess, let us know immediately.

5. Missed Deliveries

If you're unavailable at the time of delivery:

Our delivery partner will usually try again, or

We'll contact you to reschedule.

After 2 failed attempts, the book may be returned and your order cancelled (charges may apply).

6. Self Pickup (Coming Soon)

We’re working on enabling self-pickup options from select hubs or community volunteers. Stay tuned!

7. Delays

While we hustle to get your books to you on time, unexpected delays can happen.
We’ll keep you updated and make it right if something goes wrong.

8. Lost or Damaged Books

If your book is lost or arrives damaged:

Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Share photos and order details.

We'll investigate and offer a replacement, refund, or credit wherever fair.
